Austrian investors aim to install a green methanol plant in Paraguay

In Paraguay, Agencia IP reported that a group of Austrian investors aim to invest $ 75 million in Paraguay, with a projection of $ 500 million, to install a green methanol plant for export to the European market.
According to the report, the goal is to produce 1,500,000 liters of methanol.
According to the planning, the investment is planned in three phases. The initial phase will operate as a pilot plant with an expected investment of $ 75 million.
According to the report, the Austrian investors aim to install a model plant in less than 12 months. The facility is expected to be located in the department of Concepción.
