Sublime Energie lands $12.5M investment found for methanization democratization tech

March 11, 2024 |

In France, Les Echos reports Sublime Energie, a spin-off of Mines ParisTech, has developed a process for liquefaction of biogas, produced by methanization, which allows it to be transported to a purification center. A way to democratize methanization among farms remote from wastewater treatment networks and plants by offering recovery options.

After a first financing of EUR 1 million, the start-up has just raised EUR11.5 million from the Environmental Revolution and Solidarity Fund of Crédit Mutuel, also which has entered into the capital in recent months of Agrilife (agritech), Neolith (deeptech) or Colonies (proptech).

The funds will be used for the development of the company over the next three years, to develop a larger demonstrator. It will be installed in 2025 within Gazéa, a company operating an agricultural methanizer and managed by the founder and the Association des Agriculteurs Méthaniseurs de France (AAMF).
