Camper joins DHL Express GoGreen Plus program

April 30, 2024 |

In Spain, DHL Express Spain and Camper have signed a strategic agreement by which the latter adheres to the DHL Express GoGreen Plus program, the first express international parcel service that allows reducing carbon emissions associated with shipping through the use of sustainable aviation fuels. Thanks to this collaboration, Camper has set the goal for 2024 of reducing 30% of the emissions from its international air shipments, putting special focus on the company’s activities linked to the e-commerce and online sales environment. “Both DHL Express and Camper are working to achieve our sustainability goals across the business and taking an integrated approach to achieve this. We have been collaborating for more than two decades and this new step implies the reinforcement of our strong, continued and mutual commitment to innovation, digitalization and sustainability from the manufacturing of a product to its arrival to the consumer. Together, we were pioneers, for example, in making national night deliveries and Camper is one of the DHL Express clients that contracts a greater number of sustainable services within our GoGreen program,” said Miguel Borrás, general director of DHL Express Spain. DHL Express launched GoGreen Plus in early 2023 thanks to the collaboration with bp and Neste, which allowed DHL Express to secure 830 million liters of SAF until 2026.
