EID Parry expanding ethanol production to reach 2024 target

In India, the Financial Express newspaper reports EID Parry expected to produce close to 18 billion liters of ethanol by the end of 2024 as it expands production to allow for India to achieve the 20% blending mandate set to begin in 2025. With its mills matched to the possibility of cane production, the company doesn’t believe it will need to expand its cane production beyond what is already produced. Two of its key mills are currently going under expansion to reach 120.000 liters per day.
