Ethanol production and stocks lower on week

In Washington, DTN reports that Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production fell slightly last week for the first time in five weeks to 1 million barrels per day, down 2.7% on the week, although production remains a touch higher than during the same period last year. Ethanol stocks fell similarly to to 24.417 million, down 1.6% against the same week in 2022. Stocks on the East Coast and in the Midwest rose while those in the West Coast and in the Gulf Coast fell, the latter of which typically represents exports.
