Extreme Biodiesel in talks to acquire Promethean Biofuels

In California, Extreme Biodiesel announced has entered into discussions to acquire Promethean Biofuels, which in addition to the standard waste collection services they provide also run a membership based cooperative program.  With the exception of the used motor oil and waste vegetable oil collection programs, Promethean Biofuel’s products and services are only available to members of the cooperative. Also available to members are the Company’s line of industrial products and fuels; by design of equal or better quality than national brands, including methanol, solvents, surfactants, adjuvants, and ion exchange resins, and other chemicals used in the production of biofuels or biomass-based chemicals.
