Japan's Hojo debuts biodiesel-powered rail

In Japan, Hojo Rail Company has launched the country’s first train service run on biodiesel.  The trains will only run on weekends because the biodiesel produced from used cooking oil is more expensive than tariff-free imported kerosene but the company is making an environmental statement that it hopes will attract tourists.
