US ethanol production slips, stockpiles fall

In Washington, the Energy Information Agency is reporting that ethanol production remains unsteady, slipping last week after climbing during the previous two weeks. Last week’s production reached 893,000 bpd while stocks fell again to 19.48 million barrels, just 15,000 barrels down from the same week last year.
