Biofuels Digest Index drops to 88.74 as ethanol takes a hit

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 0.67 percent to 88.74 as ethanol stocks were slammed. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) recovered 0.92 percent to $30.79, while Amyris (AMRS) dropped 3.18 percent to $27.07. Among other equities, Aventine Renewables (AVRW) plummeted 9.58 percent to $10.85. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
