Biofuels Digest Index drops to 73.96 as Italian debt fears roil equities

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, backslid 2.25 percent to 73.96 as markets retreated on Italian debt concerns. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 2.95 percent to $28.97, while Syntroleum (SYNM) dropped 14.29 percent to $1.02 on weak Q3 results.  Among other equities, Valero (VLO) fell 3.25 percent to $2.38. Overall, declines led advances 22 to 1 for the day.
