Coshocton Ethanol default case heads for trial

December 1, 2011 |

In Ohio, the case of the City of Coshocton vs. Coshocton Ethanol and its original project developer is set to go to trial on May 11 following the company’s default on a $7 million loan from the Ohio Water Development Authority that it had jointly taken out with the city in 2007.

The company is about $450,000 behind on its loan payments as it has been more than two years since it has made payments. Most of the company’s employees were laid off in 2008.
