Texas eases biodiesel blending restrictions

In Texas, the state’s Commission on Environmental Quality introduced new guidelines that allow biodiesel to be added to any compliant fuel, at any ratio which backtracks on the state’s previous rules that have inhibited biodiesel use up until now. The new rules reduce the reporting burden on blenders and removes the requirement for using additional additives with biodiesel.
