February 7, 2012 |

In India, the Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) Trust and Junior Chambers International India have held camps in rural areas introducing biodiesel production from local seeds to up to 1,000 villagers with more camps planned for later this month.

The aim is not for biodiesel commercialization, but to teach farmers, students, NGOs, etc. how to produce biodiesel using local resources for their own needs.
