Indonesia pushes biodiesel for mining companies as mandate looms

In Indonesia, the government is pushing mining companies to introduce biodiesel into their operations with the first mandate of 2% coming into effect on July 1. So far 25 mining operations have signed up to introduce biodiesel into their energy supplies. The plan is meant to help boost domestic demand for palm oil biodiesel as international demand for the fuel falls.
