School district ops to buy B20 rather than produce own biodiesel

In North Carolina, schools in Guildford County are shying away from producing their own biodiesel and instead plan to source biodiesel for their buses from local producers, saying that the industry has become very competitive. Even though buying B20 is slightly more expensive than making their own biodiesel from waste cooking fuel, the cost of building the biodiesel plant and the excess personnel needed to run the facility were prohibitive.
