Biofuels Digest Index drops to 67.23 as advanced biofuels tank

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 0.81 percent to 67.23 as advanced biofuels tanked. For the day, Metabolix (MBLX) plunged 10.32 percent to $1.13, while Valero (VLO) jumped 2.98 percent to $41.41. Among other equities, Biox (BX.T) recovered 5.26 percent to $0.40. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 2 for the day.
