Biofuels Digest Index falls to 67.72 despite an advanced biofuels surge

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, fell 0.83 percent to 67.72 despite an advanced biofuels surge. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) was up 14.03 percent to $0.34, while Biox (BX.T) surged 24.07 percent to $0.67. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) fell 11.56 percent to $3.06. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
