Green Bio Fuel Switzerland puts biodiesel plans on hold again

In Switzerland, the construction of a biodiesel plant in Bad Zurzach being developed by Green Bio Fuel Switzerland has been delayed again, this time because of a lack of demand for biodiesel. Domestic fuel blenders don’t yet have the capacity to store biodiesel nor have a high enough demand to warrant the facility at the moment. Since the project was first launched in 2009, thanks to changing exchange rates and improved technologies, the project now has a budget of about half the original plan.
