Iowa Senate bill would support bioproduction tax credit for bolt-on tech

In Iowa, Senate File 350 is awaiting approval by the state Senate’s Ways and Means Committee that would provide a bioproduction tax credit, promoting bolt-on technology applications to existing and future biofuel plants. The Director of the Iowa Economic Development Authority estimates that growth potential from harvesting chemicals added on to the biofuel production process could be as much as 20% to 45%.
