German biodiesel exports jumped 11% on the year through September

In Germany, biodiesel exports through September jumped 11% on the year to 1.16 million metric tons, with the Netherlands the largest destination market by far at 428,000 tons. The largest increases were Denmark, where exports rose 183% to 78,000 tons, the third largest market, and the UK that rose 276% to 37,000 tons. Poland’s imports rose more modestly by 16% to 189,000 tons, the largest market following the Netherlands. Exports to the US collapsed almost entire to just 89 tons as a strong euro made imports unattractive.
