Mexico’s Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro to begin selling biodiesel to the public

December 27, 2017 |

In Mexico, the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro will begin selling biodiesel to the public from early 2018. Currently, the university’s pilot project launched back in 2012 only produces enough biodiesel to supply the university’s buses a 10% blend but it is currently expanding production sufficiently in order to serve the public as well. The production capacity expansion should be complete in January or February. The biodiesel will be available at an Orsan gas station in the town.
