July ethanol exports slip 11% on year

In Washington, Platts reports that US Department of Agriculture data shows ethanol exports fell 11% in July compared to last year at 395.28 million liters, more than 30% lower than in June. Even so, ethanol exports for the year are at a record high through July at 3.9 billion liters. Canada continues to be the main destination for exports at 142 million liters, followed by Brazil who imported more than 72 million liters. India imported nearly 44 million liters during the month as well.
