FatHopes Energy to use UCO from Malaysian KFC and Pizza Huts for biodiesel

In Malaysia, FatHopes Energy has teamed with the local franchise holder of KFC and Pizza Hut to collect used cooking oil that will then be processed into biodiesel. The memorandum of understanding between the two companies marks the first time a KFC franchisee in the Asia-Pacific region has turned to biodiesel production to treat its used cooking oil. Singapore could be next on the list for UCO collection at KFC outlets, also owned by the same franchisee.
