PTG Energy plans to boost biodiesel production to nearly 700,000 liters/day by Q3

In Thailand, the Bangkok Post reports that PTG Energy plans to increase its biodiesel production to as high as 700,000 liters per day by the third quarter compared to 450,000 liters currently in an effort to supply the B20 mandate for heavy vehicles and B7 mandate for automobiles. The company plans to invest as much as $15.7 million in non-oil sectors this year including renewable energy such as biodiesel. It also plans to expand its gas station holdings to 2,000 from the 1,884 it had in 2018.
