Information campaign launched to help UK farmers understand biodiesel impacts on farm machinery

In the UK, Farmers Weekly reports that some farmers are complaining about the impact biodiesel blended into fossil diesel is having on farm equipment which has prompted the national fuel distributors association to embark upon an information campaign to explain to farmers the proper storage and use of biodiesel-blended fuel. The most likely culprit for any potential challenges is expected to be poor on-farm fuel storage where water gets into the tanks and mixes with the fuel that could potentially damage tractors and other machinery.
