Iowa Republicans continue to support Trump despite throwing biofuels under the bus

In Iowa, the Des Moines Register newspaper reports that a new Des Moines Register/CNN/Mediacom Iowa Poll of Republican votes give President Trump an overall job approval rating of 85% while three-quarters of them support his trade approach with China and even half of them approve his way of handling ethanol policy, despite Iowa’s farm economy being one of the hardest hit by lack of ethanol exports and delays in renewing the biodiesel producers tax credit.
