Ethanol production falls to a new record low of just 570,000 barrels per day

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports that Energy Information Agency data shows ethanol production fell to a new low last week of 570,000 barrels per day as the industry contracts in an effort to battle falling demand and record low petroleum prices. Ethanol production fell by 102,000 barrels from the week prior which was already a record low. While production falls, stocks continue to climb to record highs, with stocks reaching 27.469 million, a build of 378,000 barrels.
