Three Rivers Energy looking to restart soon

In Ohio, even though Three Rivers Energy has been shut down since October, long before COVID-19 woes hit the industry, the company’s management believes that with improving margins it may be able to restart production soon. Originally the plant was meant to reopen in April, when corn supplies were expected to be in a better situation as well as hopes for an improved political climate, but the pandemic got in the way. The corn supply in northwest Ohio is expected to improve this fall with more acres planted than last year when poor weather kept a lot of land from getting the corn.
