Joe Biden says President Trump ethanol industry support “too little, too late”

In New York state, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden told Reuters President Trump’s efforts to help the ethanol industry were “too little, too late”, saying that rejecting the SRE gap-year waivers 50 days before the election wouldn’t make up for four years of negligence. The Biden campaign is pushing hard in corn states, seeking to take up the space left behind by the current administration. He also criticized the EPA for not yet having announced the 2021 RVO.
