In Nebraska, DTN reports ADM is trying to get a legal spat over alleged ethanol market manipulation brought by Green Plains in a Nebraska federal court shifted to Illinois where two similar cases with Midwest Renewable Energy and Switzerland-based AOT Holdings are currently underway. The class-action lawsuit filed in July by Green Plains accuses ADM of illegally pressuring ethanol prices and it lost money trading physical ethanol as a result, which ADM says is the same as the MRE class action suit, so Green Plains should join that class.
