Ethanol production down slightly on the week

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production fell slightly to 1.021 million barrels a day last week but was still 7,000 barrels per day higher than the same period last year. Crush margins remain positive for many producers despite narrowing from previously levels, keeping production output steady. Stocks fell to 23.328 million barrels, according to the Renewable Fuels Association, but even so, stocks remained 595,000 barrels higher than in 2021.
