Ethanol production rises on week

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production rose to an average of 1.043 million a day last week, helping to boost stocks to 23.394 million barrels. Ethanol production was up an average of 22,000 barrels per day from the week before and 30,000 barrels from the same time last year. Ethanol stocks were also higher, 66,000 barrels higher than the week before and 745,000 barrels from the same time last year.
