Shetland fish processor opts for biodiesel production from waste

In the UK, Shetland News reports SEM Energy has received permission to produce biodiesel from up to 3500 tons of fish processing waste per year. The company aims to produce biodiesel will utilize  leftover solids as fertilizer. The company is also seeking permits to expand.
