The Digest’s 2022 Multi-Slide Guide to Cryogenic Carbon Capture From Cement Production

This Project aims to build and operate a 30 TPD CCC Pilot located at Sugar Creek Cement Plant near Kansas City, Missouri with a skid-based design that can be built mostly off-site with limited integration. The project features Low energy and cost retrofit technology, easy retrofit carbon capture technology, iobust to pollutants and captures most criteria pollutants, high-purity, liquid CO2, high capture rates, up to negative emissions (99%+), and integrated grid-scale energy storage. Christopher Hoeger of Sustainable Energy Solutions showed these slides at the National Energy Technology Laboratory’s Carbon Management Project Review Meeting in August.
