In Brazil, Reuters reports Stellantis aims to focus on developing ethanol hybrid vehicles to serve the Latin America market, the technology suite for which it expects to obtain by the end of the year. The company started developing its Bio-Electro project last year but hasn’t announced an anticipated launch date for the new product. EV vehicles as well as ethanol fuel cells are amongst the country’s future plans, but it will use existing manufacturing lines rather than building a new factory.
