Ireland to roll out E10 from April 1

In Ireland, RTE reports that ethanol blending will double nationwide on April 1 to 10% from the current 5% in line with the country’s aim to achieve 51% carbon emissions reductions from 2030. E10 was already introduced in Northern Ireland last year when the United Kingdom rolled out the higher blend that is already available in 15 European countries. The Department of Transport will start its statutory consultation campaign including publication of regulations and public awareness campaign on March 3
