In the Netherlands, Platts reports an oversupplied European biodiesel market together with a bearish fossil diesel market has pushed down European biodiesel prices over the past two weeks. FAME 0 prices down more than 13% since the start of the year, similar to RME that’s down 21% and UCO that is down 15% during the same period. Imports from Asia as well as surplus rapeseed supplies are amongst the culprits for driving biodiesel prices lower.
