Borealis launches circular plastomers and elastomers using renewable feedstock

In Austria, Borealis has launched a portfolio of circular plastomers and elastomers based on renewable feedstock, the Bornewables line of Queo. The introduction follows the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC PLUS) of Borealis’ production site for the Queo™ portfolio, in Geleen, the Netherlands. The new line will enable Borealis to meet growing customer demand for sustainable solutions that don’t compromise on quality or performance.

Bornewables feedstock is derived solely from waste and residue streams: from vegetable oil products as well as oil waste and residues — for instance, used cooking oil.
