September 4, 2023 |

In Indiana, WCSI local radio reports that POET’s Cloverdale biorefinery that was shut down four years ago due to the implementation of the Renewable Fuel Standard has now been restarted thanks to strong support for E15. A “Grand Opening” was held last week but the plant won’t be fully online until next week. POET invested about $30 million to expand production to 95 million gallons per year from the previous 80 million gallons that will consume 34 million bushels of corn annually.
