Eurowind Energy acquires the HyBalance hydrogen plant from Air Liquide
In Denmark, Eurowind Energy said it has acquired the HyBalance hydrogen plant from Air Liquide.
The company said that this purchase is the first step in Eurowind Energy’s plan to enter the PtX industry and will provide valuable insights into the production of hydrogen, using the excess power from solar and wind.

The project, as well as the location, is a perfect point of departure for us to develop our engagement in the PtX industry even further, and realize our mission to become a power major,” said Jens Rasmussen, CEO, Eurowind Energy.
The HyBalance hydrogen plant is a PEM (Polymer Electrolyte Membrane) unit and can produce more than 500 kg of pure hydrogen per day. The production unit is fully equipped with a 1.25 MW PEM electrolyser.
