The Digest’s 2023 Multi-Slide Guide to Visolis
October 5, 2023
| Jim Lane
A recent DOE project aims to support Visolis, a biotech start-up company, to develop hydrogenolysis catalyst that can operate at low-pressures (≤ 5 MPa) and demonstrate conversion of a fermentation-derived C6 intermediate to a high value chemical monomer. The target is accelerated catalyst and process development to convert the bio-derived intermediate to a high value monomer, while supporting the start-up company with commercializing their technology. PNNL’s Karthikeyan K. Ramasamy presented these slides at DOE’s Project Peer Review.
