Brazilian ethanol prices remain firm despite crush nearing

In Brazil, hydrous ethanol prices continue to rise as drivers stick with the fuel at the pump over gasoline due to short-term savings and concerns over inflation, with prices reaching $1.84/gal, up 0.81% on the week. Anhydrous ethanol prices rose slightly as well to $1.99/gal. Purchases have been minimized due to the upcoming start of the crush in the next few weeks, helping to further support prices, while mills are seeking to offload the rest of their old supplies to make room for new product.
