Oregon DEQ to review air quality permit for Columbia Pacific Bio-Refinery

In Oregon, the Columbia County Spotlight reports the state’s department of environmental quality will review the air quality permit it approved for the Columbia Pacific Bio-Refinery in August following a request by Columbia Riverkeeper, Northwest Environmental Defense Center and Neighbors for Clean Air. The permit, which allows the company to transport renewable diesel, which is set to begin this fall, in addition to crude and ethanol, will continue to be valid while the review is underway.
